Nicole goes casual at Coachella
The first weekend of Coachella has been and gone, bringing with it some of the strange and wonderful fashion the festival has become known for. While the usual flower crowns and body paint were visible in abundance, Coachella also showcased some of the must-wear trends for summer.
Many of these were worn by the celeb contingent who, as usual, flocked to the celebration in Palm Springs, US. The mix of high fashion and festival vibes resulted in a range of wearable looks that we have fallen in love with.
However, it was Nicole Scherzinger's style that we think was among the best and is certainly what we want to recreate when it comes to our own festival fashion looks. The former Pussycat Doll showcased a number of winning ensembles, but it was her last of the weekend that really caught our eye.
The singer opted for a pair of slightly frayed denim shorts that were indeed fairly short to show off her legs. These were a staple of her festival wardrobe and are the perfect choice for yours this summer.
She teamed these with a pair of practical heeled cowboy-style boots that were a bit chicer than the UK's festival wellies and looked great, creating a relaxed but on-trend outfit.
While Nicole tied a jumper around her waist so it was at the ready for when the weather got cold, she also wore a pretty camisole top. Rocking the underwear as outerwear vibe, Nicole's cream top was fitted and featured a subtle lace pattern, as well as an attractive V-neckline.
This neckline was showed off with the hottest item of festival jewellery - a long tassel necklace. Similar to our long rose gold tassel necklace, Nicole's choice elongated her neck and contrasted really well with the fragile look of her top.
The cherry on top of this great ensemble was Nicole's wide-brimmed brown hat, that looked great with her long brunette hair and served as a practical festival option we should all try.
